A Week of Milestones

When my girls decide to have a week of milestones, they don't mess around! It is really hard to believe that all of these things happened just this week! Needless to say, they have been busy around here.....showing off! :)

Just this week, guess who....

Had their carseat turned around for the first time?

and LOVES laughing with her big sister!


Guess who started pulling up and cruising?


Guess who learned how to climb stairs?


AND, guess who completely potty trained herself this week? Can I get a "WOOT WOOT?"


Oh, and the week before, Emmie decided to get all four molars. She had gotten one, and the other three quickly followed! The girl has a mouth full of teeth to only be 11 months old!

An Attempted Escape

Oooooo Riley....is that the ice cream truck I see?

Let's see, if I push this door open, we could totally get out of here and get some ice cream! C'mon....help me push!

Riley, I am giving you all I have and you aren't even giving me a nose. Put some effort into it...must. push. this. door. OPEN!!!

Ugh, there it goes. We totally missed our chance at a treat. Some help you are! I will be sure to call on Lainie next time.

Sweet Cheeks

Happy Father's Day to Justin!

There are so many wonderful qualities about my sweet husband, and being an amazing Daddy to Lainie and Emmie is just one of them. They are both so incredibly fortunate to have him as their Daddy. He treats me so well and loves me unconditionally, but the love and devotion that he has for our two girls means more to me than anything else. Thank you, Justin, for being such an amazing Daddy and taking such great care of us! We love you!














I also wanted to wish Pops (Justin's dad) and Grampi (my dad) a very Happy Father's Day! Thank you for all you do! We love you both!

Emmie's 9-Month Pictures

I know Emmie is about to turn one, but I just received her 9-month pictures from our photographer last week. I though there were several cute ones of her and wanted to share them. There are so many to choose from, but I am putting up some of my favorites!

Water Table Fun

Both the girls love to play in water, so Justin and I decided that we would get them a water table for the back yard! They both have had more fun playing with it. The pictures show exactly what occurs during water play....Lainie waters the grass and Emmie chews on the wet toys. It is amazing what will entertain them for a long period of time!
