Ellie, you are 6 months old today! Here is what you are up to these days:
* You are wearing 3-6 month clothes, 6 month one piece outfits and size 2 diapers.
* You love to play with your toes, and you also just stare at your hands like you are really trying to figure out what they are. You will hold your hand out in front of your face and just look so intently at it.
* You are finally sleeping in your crib at night! We moved you into your nursery about 3 weeks ago, and you love it!
* You go to bed around 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. and sleep until around 7:00 a.m. You still wake up twice a night to eat, usually around 10:30 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
* You take a morning nap and an afternoon nap, but the times vary according to our schedule that day. Unfortunately, you just have to nap when you can since you are the third baby. It seems like we always have somewhere to be, so keeping you on a strict schedule is tough.
* You are still nursing about every 3 hours. We are planning to give you your first taste of baby food this week! Can't wait to see what you think of it!
* You can sit up with assistance. You will "tripod sit" for a few seconds, but it doesn't last long because you are wild! You immediately start trying to grab something or move around, so your throw yourself off balance pretty quickly.
* You still love your swing, your bath, and to talk to people. You are very social and VERY smiley! You being super smiley is the one thing that everyone notices about you (other than the fact that your look like Daddy!).
* You love to talk and talk to whoever will listen, and you usually wake up in the mornings just talking away.
* You love your pacifier! We always have a paci nearby as it calms you down immediately.
* You still love playing in your exersaucer, but you also love your johnny jumper! We introduced that to you this month, and you usually hang out in that while Mommy and Daddy get ready in the mornings.
* I think you get balder everyday instead of growing hair. You might be the baldest baby we have had so far. You and Lainie are running a close contest on that! We call Lainie "Brownie," Emmie "Blondie," and you are "Baldie!"
* You love music and love to sing songs with Mommy, Lainie and Emmie. We love to sing with you and watch you smile as you listen!
Ellie, you are so precious and such a joy. You really are the happiest baby and SO easy. You are just so content all day long. We are just so blessed with three beautiful, sweet baby girls! Happy 6 Months, Peanut!
