Young Love

First there was Kade, and now there is Jonah! Lainie is lucky to have so many little "boyfriends" who are very sweet to her. As soon as Jonah and Lainie get together, they start holding hands and walk around together. Lainie is always telling Jonah to "c'mon" wherever she wants to go. Of course, he is sweet enough to listen and follow her. They are such great friends and always have lots of fun together. They have been in the same MDO classroom since they were one and will be this year too! It has been fun watching them grow up together. Of course, Jonah's mom, Jen, is such a sweet friend to me too. Love their family!

Kade's 5th Birthday

Yesterday, we all went to celebrate Kade's 5th birthday. A guy from the Nashville Zoo came with snakes, lizards, and frogs for the kids to see and touch. Lainie and Emmie weren't so sure about the whole concept of touching them, but they perked up when Calie brought the cake out! Happy 5th Birthday to Kade! I cannot believe he is already 5!

Father's Day Weekend

Last Friday, Aunt Kimie and Uncle Michael came to visit us for Father's Day weekend. We had such a great time! Friday night, we cooked out hamburgers. We got up Saturday morning and spent the whole day at the pool, which was so nice! After lots of fun in the sun, we headed home to get ready to go to dinner. We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Garcia's. Yum!!! Sunday morning, Kimie and I went to get our hair done and then did a little shopping before everyone had to head home. Loved having them here!

Haircuts

The girls were in a desperate need of haircuts, so we went last week to take care of that. Emmie got her hair cut like Lainie's. She still has bangs, but the back is stacked now. Can't believe they are about to turn 2 and 4....growing up so fast! Here are some pics!
