Sweet Dedication

So, we have to go all the way back to the day after Ellie's first birthday party for this important event! On October 9, we dedicated our sweet Ellie to God at our church during their morning service. It was such a special time for us. Justin and I have recently joined a new church in our area that we absolutely love, and we were able to dedicate Ellie there. It was such a sweet time and a very special memory for us to have with her. We hope that Ellie grows up to understand who God is and develop her own relationship with Him. My prayer is that she will live for Him, have a personal relationship with Him, and that He will use her for His glory.

Just a sidenote: my mom handmade the most beautiful christening gown that I wore during my christening. Since then, Brooke, Lainie and Emmie have all worn it to their dedications. We decided not to use it for Ellie because it really is super involved when getting them dressed. Since she was dedicated during the actual church service instead of a special afternoon service like Lainie and Emmie, we thought it might be too hard to use it. I will have Ellie's pictures taken in it though because it is so special. Just wanted to document that for her! :)
