Halloween 2012
Lainie decided in September that she wanted to be a cheerleader for Halloween. I thought I would run with that idea for all three girls and get them cheerleader outfits, especially since it was football season and they could get some wear out of them. I got Lainie an Auburn cheerleader outfit, and Ellie a Notre Dame outfit. Unfortunately, Emmie wanted nothing to do with the cheerleader idea! She was all about being a princess, and was really into the idea of being Ariel. Em is big into princesses these days, so I was completely fine with the idea of her dressing as one. It is totally "Emmie!" She was all about the Ariel costume, with the exception of the hair. She refused to wear the hair, but I thought she looked cute anyways. :)
The night of Halloween, we met up with some of the kids on the street. As you can see, we have LOTS of kids on our street. Believe it or not, several were actually not in the picture. Crazy!
We ended up trick-or-treating with our sweet friends, Greyson and Selah. Their mommy had their baby brother, Crew, that morning! We can't wait for many more fun Halloweens with them as they live right down the street.
And look at this baby girl's ponytail! I don't think it could get any cuter than that! :)
The girls LOVE Halloween, and were so excited about trick-or-treating this year. They got lots of goodies, and claim that this might be there favorite holiday. However, I have a feeling that will change once Christmas rolls around.

Ellie's Birthday Celebration
Instead of doing a party this year for Ellie's birthday, we decided just to do something fun as a family to celebrate. I have learned through the years that not only are birthdays expensive, but they are really more for the adults than the kids at this age. I feel like I am getting wiser as I get older. ;)
Ready for her big day and wondering where we are going!
First stop....in order to celebrate the big day, we took Ellie to McAllister's for lunch where she got an individual pizza.
Afterwards, we took the girls to Monkey Joe's. It was perfect for her. Ellie is our wild, energetic, fearless, go-getter. She loved, loved running around with her sisters and jumping until her heart was content.
This is her normal speed....
and she wouldn't have it any other way!
Our three monkeys!
Taking a break from all of the jumping and sliding
While at Monkey Joe's, she tasted her very first Icee. It is safe to say that she liked it!
Just in case the girls had not consumed enough sugar that day, we left and went to Sweet Cece's for some frozen yogurt. Ellie ate it up!
As you can see, Ellie approved of her big day! She was so happy. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday to Ellie!!
She is sassy, yet sweet, independent and strong-willed. She is feisty, fearless and so funny. She loves baby dolls, playing ball, stealing her sister's toys, and going on any adventure outside. She is our Lynleigh Ellison, our Ellie, our Elles, our Belle-Belle. Happy Birthday to our very favorite 2 year old in the whole world!

Emmie's 1st Day of Pre-K4
For the first time ever, Emmie is going to a school by herself. I was really worried that she would have a hard time this year because of that. She did get upset when we went to meet her teacher, but she has done awesome since then. She is in Pre-K4 this year and has Mrs. Emily and Mrs. BeBe. She also has some sweet friends in her class, which is so fun.
Here is Em on "Meet the Teacher" Day....
and here she is on her 1st Day of Pre-K4!

Lainie's 6th Birthday
I realized I never posted pictures from Lainie's actual birthday. For the first time, she was at school on her birthday this year. Emmie and I took cupcakes up to school so she could celebrate with her classmates. We also celebrated at home with blueberry muffins for breakfast, and pizza for dinner! We also had a cookie cake for her and had her friends, Micah and Elliot over to sing "Happy Birthday." Our neighbors were so sweet to leave her a birthday message in front of our house for her too. She had a great day!

First Jeep
I am having to back track a little with my blog posts since I can't seem to keep it updated currently. I wanted to post a few pictures of L and E getting their big birthday gift for their birthdays.
We had asked our family if they were interested in going in with us on a motorized pink Barbie jeep. The girls had seen it and been asking for one for a while. We thought it would be the perfect joint gift for them, and everyone was so sweet to help us get it for them.
They were so excited, and have had the best time riding that jeep up and down the streets of our neighborhood. I feel like I keep seeing a small glimpse into our future when I see them driving down the road together. :)
All the birthday gifts waiting for the girls to find!
Walking in to discover their big surprise
So excited!!! They love it!
