Ellie's 9-month appt

I took Ellie for her 9-month well visit on Monday morning. She did great, but wasn't really happy when they gave her a vaccine at the end of her visit. Sweet girl started crying before the nurse even started the process. She checked out great, but I was encouraged by her pediatrician to put her down on the floor more so she would start crawling. Ha! The child would attach herself to my hip if she could. Her stats were:

Weight: 16 pounds, 10 ounces (10th percentile)
Length: 28 1/4 inches (60th percentile)

Needless to say, the numbers basically show that she is tall and skinny! She really wants to hold onto her original nickname, Peanut. Dr. Ray was a little concerned with her weight, so she wants me to start her on either formula or whole milk. She also said she needed to eat some fatty foods. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. I have tried formula and she will not take it from a bottle or a sippy cup. I have also tried whole milk, and she just chews on the sippy cup instead of drinking it. It is a work in progress.
