Happy 10 Months to Ellie!

Little Miss Ellie turned 10 months old yesterday! I honestly do not know how that is possible. 10 Months....really?? Time is flying by with these three girls! Ellie, here is what you are up to these days:

* You are the littlest peanut weighing only 16 pounds, 10 ounces at your 9 month check-up this week. Just as a comparison, Lainie was 20 pounds at her 9 month check-up, and Emmie was 21 pounds!
* You are wearing a size 3 diaper now! You also wear a size 3 night time diaper. You wear 6-12 month clothes. You can wear 12 month clothes, but if it is an outfit with shorts or bloomers, they are huge on you!

* You sleep from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. You take a morning nap and an afternoon nap, and your morning nap is usually your longest. You are a great sleeper!

* You still are eating baby food (2 jars each meal), but you have also started eating table food. You have had cheerios, puffs, yogurt melts, yogurt, spaghetti, tomatoes, cheese, quesadillas, peas, baked beans, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. Basically, if it is carbs, you love it. Otherwise, don't bother. :)

* You nurse around 4 times a day, but you are so curious about everything going on around you. It is really hard to get you to actually drink anything. Morning and nighttime are the easiest times to feed you. During the day is SO hard because there is so much going on!

* You still are not crawling, but you roll and scoot all over the place. You really don't like being on your tummy, so I am not sure how you will ever learn to crawl.

* You learned to clap this month and are so proud of your new trick. It is so cute to watch you get excited and clap.

* You are super ticklish and just laugh and laugh when we tickle you under your chin or on your legs. You always get the hiccups when you laugh, so we can't tickle you for long. :)

* You love to snuggle with your bumper pads when you sleep. You wrap your arms around them like they are a teddy bear. It is the cutest thing.
* You still love bath time and are wild, wild, wild in the bathtub. You splash your hands into the water as hard as you can. The higher the splash, the better!

You are growing and changing so much these days. You have the cutest little personality. We have so much fun with you, sweet Ellie! Love you so much!

P.S. The reason your little head is red in some of these pics is because you had just gotten up from your nap! Since you don't have hair, that little red mark is your "bedhead!" Ha!
